Diabetes mellitus, a chronic metabolic disease affects various organs of the body on long-term basis. results in haematological changes that lead to development complications such as hypercoagulability, anemia and cardiovascular (CVD). Hematological parameters play an important role treatment follow up diabetic patients. Hence, objective study is compare mean levels hematological namely Platelet Distribution Width (PDW), Mean Volume (MPV) Plateletcrit (PCT) between type 2 patients with HbA1c ≥ 6.5 non-diabetic controls (HbA1c < 5.4) correlate values among diabetes The case-control was conducted for 6 months 50 participants age group 25-50 years. Case includes 25 diagnosed were healthy 5.4. serum samples analysed PCT, PDW MPV by electrical impendence method immunoturbidimetric method. Increased PDW, found cases when compared There significant association platelet mellitus indices (PCT, MPV) be significantly associated glycemic control mellitus. during their routine biochemical investigation, investigation can also done which helps easy recognition increased prevention progression
